Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the GLOWISH application.

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using GLOWISH, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you do not have permission to use the application.

Subscription Services

GLOWISH offers subscription-based premium features:

• Subscriptions are billed automatically on a recurring basis (monthly, quarterly, or annually).

• Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.

GLOWISH provides AI-based skin analysis for informational purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

The skin analysis, recommendations, and other information provided through GLOWISH:
• Is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Should not be relied upon for making decisions about your health
• Does not establish a doctor-patient relationship

Always seek the advice of a qualified dermatologist or healthcare provider with any questions about your skin health or a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by GLOWISH.

The accuracy of skin analysis results may vary based on image quality, lighting conditions, and other factors. Results should be considered as general information only.

Users should consult with a dermatologist or qualified healthcare professional before making any changes to their skincare routine or treatment plan based on app recommendations.

By using GLOWISH, you acknowledge and agree that GLOWISH is not responsible for any health problems that may result from information, products, or services obtained through the app.

User Content and License

When you upload images to GLOWISH:

• You retain all rights to your content.

• You grant us a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and process your content solely for providing the service.

• You confirm you have the right to share any content you upload.

Face Data Privacy

 What face data does the app collect?

GLOWISH collects facial images through the device camera or photo library uploads when a user explicitly initiates a skin analysis scan. We collect:

1. Still images of the user's face (not video)
2. Visual data about facial features, skin texture, tone, and specific characteristics within these images
3. Derived measurements and metrics related to skin health, including:
   - Skin hydration levels
   - Pigmentation and color evenness
   - Pore size and visibility
   - Presence of wrinkles and fine lines
   - Acne and blemishes
   - Skin barrier integrity

We do NOT collect any biometric identifiers for authentication purposes or face geometry for identification.

How face data is used

The facial data we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• **Skin Analysis**: Processing the images to detect skin characteristics using our proprietary algorithms
• **Health Metrics Generation**: Calculating quantitative scores (0-100) across multiple skin health dimensions
• **Personalized Recommendations**: Providing customized skincare advice based on detected skin conditions
• **Progress Tracking**: If enabled by the user, storing analysis results (not the original images) to track skin health changes over time

The app does NOT use your facial data for:
• User identification or authentication
• Targeted advertising or marketing
• Sharing with third parties for commercial purposes
• Creating profiles beyond skincare recommendations

Data sharing and third parties

We do not share your facial data with any third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

• When required by law or to comply with legal processes
• To protect our rights, privacy, safety or property
• In connection with a sale, merger, or acquisition of all or a portion of our company

Your facial data is never sold, rented, or leased to third parties. We do not use facial data for marketing purposes or share it with advertising partners.

 Storage and retention of facial data

Your facial data is primarily processed on-device. When analysis requires additional computing power:

• Images are temporarily processed in memory
• Results of the analysis are stored locally on your device
• For users who enable the history feature, the analysis results (not the original images) are stored locally to track progress

By default, facial images are NOT permanently stored and are discarded after analysis is complete. If you have enabled the "Save Analysis History" option, summarized analysis results will be stored but not the original facial images.

Your facial data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the requested analysis. You can delete all your data at any time through the app settings.

Security measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your facial data against unauthorized access, accidental loss, or destruction. These measures include:

• Encryption during any necessary data transmission
• Secure local storage with industry-standard protections
• Strict access controls for any temporary processing
• Regular security assessments and updates

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

User rights and controls

You have the following rights regarding your facial data:

• Access: View what data is stored (analysis results)
• Deletion: Delete all your data from the app
• Opt-out: Use the app without saving history
• Control: Choose when to capture and analyze images

The app includes features to help you exercise these rights easily through the Settings menu.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of GLOWISH, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GLOWISH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the application after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
